12 days apart

today is the birthday of janice. one of my really true friends. she's celebrating her birthday in hk with her family and i hope they have a blast.

but it's not only janice who is celebrating her birthday this month. there's another really good friend au and of course moi. i could say we're three of a kind really. we met and bonded at then solidbank corporation. but we've since gone on to forge our own paths and pursue our own dreams. janice is in davao and au is in bacolod. but the closeness i say, is still the same. we still scream and giggle and out talk each other when we get the chance.

and the beautiful thing that keeps the bond between us stronger is that our birthdays are exactly 12 days apart. au's birthday is nov 2, janice's is nov 14 and mine on nov 26. but it's funny because there were times when one of us forgot another's birthday! but there were no hurt feelings. the thing with friends is that alibis are no good so we just say 'i couldn't believe i actually forgot!' in the sweetest way possible. and since then we remind each other when november comes. and it's always fun.
