inspiring moment

i visited mlp today and i popped into madam annie's office before i left. i was just planning to say a quick hi but she had time to talk and she asked me how i've been and i told her i changed my mind about singapore and about my foray into teaching and we both agreed that it's a tough job. and then i never expected it but she proceeded to tell me what they had been doing especially her new development. and i was even more surprised when she said, 'here i'll show you' and she showed me the plans and how it has been in the planning and management side. i could feel her excitement and it just felt good to see her again. to be infected by her passion for what she is doing. how her eyes sparkles with pride when she describes her new baby. a call came through and i bid her goodbye and wished her merry christmas when she picked up the phone. and i was really touched when she excused herself from her caller and told me, 'you come to our christmas party'. how gracious.
