singapore with bong

clowning with bong at fullybooked on a rare ladies' night out. by singapore we mean the title of the book behind us. next up was tinderbox for our third dinner of the night.


it always rains when we visit tinderbox. but we always manage to have fun. the salad was a 'sensory experience' according to bong. we also had grilled sausage and a bit of spanish wine. it's also worth mentioning that we were graciously received by the people there especially their head. we ate (or mostly i) 3 times in 13 hours. we had early dinner/snack at matia's. bbq and grilled anduhaw. always a winner while hot. then just before heading out to nowhere and eventually the terraces, i had chickenjoy. and after burning those calories by parading around the terraces we looked for another stopover. we thought of vudu but we were kinda outed by the lady with an outrageous hairstyle by the door so we thought of formo but eventually settled for tinderbox since we passed it en route to btc. talk turned out to be tastier with some mediterranean dish. so we indulged. but if we consider 'food every four hours' it was perfectly justifiable. we missed edna. the other vital element to this triangle. hope we can bond again together soon.

by the way, it was bong's treat for my birthday. how lucky can one get!
