soundtrack of my life...

i could tell my life story with songs. different songs have helped me get where i am today. when i felt a bit under the weather, i created a feel good cd which i would play every morning. the songs included 'it's my life' and 'corner in the sky' and so many other pick me up songs. they served to remind me of how beautiful the world is and how much it offers me and most of all how i can claim my inherent right to live a fabulous life. it's a given to some, but when you're not feeling so good, these are distant realities and so it has to be pounded over and over into your brain. gladly i graduated from those songs to cuts like 'live' by jeniffer marks, 'unwritten' by natasha beddingfield, 'i don't wanna be' by gavin degraw and 'wonderful' by jason mraz. now, i'm finding special meaning in singing praise songs. unlike before, i could sing them now from my heart because of what i have overcome and because this indeed is no ordinary life.
